Disclaimer For Services
There are a number of ways you may choose to work with me that are available to purchase or book through my website. The terms and conditions in this document apply to all of my services and products unless alternative terms are explicitly stated.
I offer:
· Naturopathic and nutritional medicine consults
· Civil celebrant services
My intention in offering these services is to provide holistic health support (as a naturopath and nutritional medicine practitioner) and civil celebrant services including, but not limited to, wedding and funeral ceremonies.
My Julie Brennan 12 Week Triumph Program has been designed to offer you nutritional guidance and lifestyle coaching over 12 weeks to help you achieve better general health. It is not a weight loss program, however you might achieve weight loss as a result of participating in this program. I will make general exercise recommendations, however you need to speak with a reliable medical practitioner before engaging in any exercise to ensure that you can do so safely. Your outcome depends on a wide range of factors outside of my control, including – but not limited to - genetics, environment, lifestyle and diet. Please ask me if you have any concerns around this.
My Stress Management Program offers stress management support over 12 weeks. The cost is for one-on-one consults only. The cost of any recommended supplements is extra. The purpose of the program is to support you with stress management; it is not designed to resolve your stress response. Your outcome depends on a wide range of factors outside of my control, including – but not limited to - genetics, environment, lifestyle and diet. Please ask me if you have any concerns around this.

I maintain the highest standards of naturopathic and nutritional medicine clinical practice, which includes ongoing professional development, investigating the latest areas of research and adhering to my duty of care and confidentiality in every consult.
I maintain the highest standards of service as a civil celebrant, which includes ongoing professional development, adhering to government and legal requirements and ensuring that the services I offer align with my clients' needs, as far as is practicable.
Your Responsibility
Naturopathic and nutritional medicine clients need to disclose information about diagnosed medical conditions, past and current medications, food and/or substance intolerances and allergies to ensure my capacity to adhere to the highest levels of safety.
Naturopathic and nutritional medicine clients are required to provide next of kin details in case of emergency.
Naturopathic and nutritional medicine clients are to follow my instructions, as there is a risk of adverse reactions associated with herbal and nutritional medicine if not taken correctly. Naturopathic and nutritional medicine treatment does not take the place of medical advice. If you require medical treatment, please contact a reliable primary healthcare professional, or call 000 for emergency medical attention.
Naturopathic and nutritional medicine clients will receive information and suggestions from me, however the ultimate decision to facilitate these recommendations is your responsibility.
While I will do my best to tailor your plan specific to your needs, there is no guarantee that we will achieve any specific results. Your outcome depends on a wide range of factors outside of my control, including – but not limited to - genetics, environment, lifestyle and diet. Please ask me if you have any concerns around this.
Do not give your supplements or prescription to anyone else. There is no guarantee that they will be effective or that they will be safe for anyone other than you, the client.
Civil celebrant clients need to ensure that all instructions are followed, particularly related to the physical environment where the ceremony takes place, to ensure that any potential risks to physical safety are avoided.
Important Information
As a naturopath and nutritional medicine practitioner, I will provide information and recommendations based on the information you disclose to me about your health that is within my scope of practice. I will refer you to other suitable health professionals if you require services to support your health that I cannot provide.
I might include prescriptions for herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, energetic medicine (homoeopathics and flower essences), diet and lifestyle. These prescriptions will be made after doing my best to ensure they will not negatively impact you, or interfere with any medication you are taking. Please be aware that you must be honest with all of the medications you are taking. I will give you specific instructions for these prescriptions, to try to mitigate any potential adverse reactions. All reasonable care will be taken to ensure that these adverse reactions do not occur, including the provision of specific instructions, however there is always the risk that adverse reactions may occur. If you experience an adverse reaction to any prescription, you need to stop taking the prescription and contact me. We will review this at your next consult.

Payment Terms
I accept online payments via a third party, Stripe. I do not keep a record of your credit card details.
From Stripe:
“All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).”

Naturopath and Nutritional Medicine
All new clients are required to pay for their initial naturopathic or nutritional medicine consult at the time of booking. All other naturopathic or nutritional medicine consults will be invoiced at the end of the session. Payment is required within seven (7) days.
Weddings
A 50% deposit is required within seven (7) days of the couple confirming they would like to proceed with my services. Final payment is required one month prior to the ceremony.
Funerals
Funeral services will need to be paid in full after an obligation free meeting, once the client has confirmed that they wish to proceed with civil celebrant services.
Payment plans are not offered at this stage.
Delivery and Shipping
Naturopathic and nutritional medicine consults will be delivered via Cliniko. You will receive a link via email, providing a link to a video call for the allocated time. I will be waiting in the video call for you. If phone consults are the only option (for follow up consults only), I will call you. Ideally, you will be in a quiet location where you won't be disturbed for the duration of the consult.
You will be sent a questionnaire via email at the time of booking your initial consult, to be completed and returned to me via email (hello@juliebrennan.com.au) prior to the first appointment.
Initial consults run for approximately one hour and follow up consults run for 30 to 45 minutes. Initial consults need to be paid for at the time of booking.
Quick consults will run for approximately 20 minutes. These are for existing clients who require a repeat prescription or to manage an acute presentation (such as a head cold), or for new clients who wish to address an acute presentation. I will determine whether I can treat you in 20 minutes, as your health condition and symptom presentation might require a full consult to treat you. I will let you know this before we commence the consult.
Civil celebrant meetings, beyond the initial email or phone call, will either take place face to face or via Zoom. You will receive an email with an invitation to the meeting for the allocated time. You will need to have Zoom installed to your phone or laptop, which can be completed via https://zoom.us/download
Shipping of supplements will be undertaken by one of a number of third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, Oborne Health Supplies and Vita.ly. After discussing - and agreeing to - your prescription with me, you will receive an email from a third party supplier with instructions for how to order your prescription, as well as the associated costs. Shipping costs are set by the supplier.

Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
(i) If either of us have any concerns arising out of these terms, your use of my website or my provision of products or services, we agree that we shall communicate with the intention of making a genuine effort to seek a win/win solution and resolve any dispute by negotiation and discussion.
(ii) You can contact me via email (hello@juliebrennan.com.au) or via phone (+61 406 997 025) to let me know of any issues that have arisen from the use of my website.
(iii) All information exchanged during this negotiation process or any subsequent dispute resolution process, shall be regarded as “without prejudice” communications for the purpose of settlement negotiations and shall be treated as confidential by everyone involved and their representatives, unless otherwise required by law. However, evidence that is independently admissible or discoverable shall not be rendered inadmissible or non-discoverable by virtue of its use during the dispute resolution process.
(iv) If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an independent accredited mediator, seeking online dispute resolution or mediation by telephone if we are not both in Victoria, Australia.
(v) The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, failing agreement within 21 days of the negotiation period ending, the person initiating the dispute will seek the appointment of a dispute resolution professional by the President of the Law Society of Victoria or similar neutral authority.
(vi) We agree to share all the costs of mediation equally between us.
(vii) We agree that neither of us will commence legal action until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
(viii) Everyone involved in the dispute agrees that they will not publicly or privately disparage any other party or anyone associated with them, and will act in good faith to refrain from any conduct or communication which might reasonably be expected to interfere with any other party’s business or personal interests.
(ix) This agreement is subject to the governing law of Victoria. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of Victoria, and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
